National Karate Championship to be held in Goa on 29th January 2009
Goa will be host to the JKA India's National Karate Championship which will be held on the 29th of January 2009. More details will be out soon. Watch this space soon....
Hi. I am dedicating this blog to Karate events in Goa or for that matter from all over India. If you have organized some Karate event, for example a tournament or a grading or say a senior sensai visited your dojo or maybe a karate camp, then it will be nice if people know about it. Please send me a mail with some details of the event. If there are any photographs, that would be even better!
I will get the matter online as soon as I get hold of it!
I first joined Karate at the B.M. Hall Dojo, Margao Goa, at the age of 9. I began learning Karate under Sensai Agnelo Rodrigues. Little did I then realize that it was the beginning of a very long, never ending journey which would become a very integral part of my life....forever.
I was awarded the Sho-Dan (Dan 1) on the 27th of December 1997.
